Flying over Monday and back Friday with my parents, sister and 3yr old dd.

I have a small agenda in as much as to do/see the "biggies" with as little hassle/stress as possible.

Anyone got any tips or is there anything specifically lovely that 3yr old dd will enjoy?

Not taking buggy but SSC and she walks heaps very well.

At present dd is just excited about going to the home of her 3 favourite things: pizza, pasta and gelati!!

TIA

Is she toilet trained? If not, take loads of nappies, they cost a fortune and a leg over here!
Enjoy! She'll be gobbled up with love by children-loving Italians!

Yes thank goodness, just night nappies now.

Actually, good point tho. Might chuck the porta-potti into the case. She's too big for it really now but could be good for emergencies!

Yes I'm expecting she will be adored as not only is she a little character she's blue eyed with curly blonde hair.

She's already working on prego and ciao LOL!

Chucking it down at the mo, so bring wellies! Sazisi is right, but it's practically the only thing actually laid on for kids in the whole city, and the only kid thing to do in the rain. Def don't bring a pushchair as dog poo everywhere and people park all over the crossings so it's just a pita.

Apart from that it's very lovely and the pizza and gelato is fab! Villa Borghese is a very nice park and the zoo (in that park) is good too.

bugger! wellies? no room in case for them LOL!

park/zoo sound fab tho

clearing up now, meant to be sunny tomorrow and sunday but clouding over again on mon. Agree with Villa Borghese and the zoo,we spent last Sunday in the park and ds loved it. Enjoy your stay!

We went when ds2 was three, the things he really enjoyed were the Trevi fountain, open-top bus rides, and all the lemon ice-creams. He also enjoyed all the general sightseeing but as we went when it was very hot he did get tired.
