Thinking of going to Florida at Easter - doing Disney and Epcot. Good time or year or total madness?

Any idea of what the weather will be like?

The weather will be nice but it can be horrendously busy. If you plan your days it can be OK but be prepared for crowds.

Don't really want to take DS out of school though so it will have to be holiday time if we do it.

Buda, I think if you are prepared for crowds, then you will be ok.

First year we went did July 10 for two weeks, yes it was fairly busy, second year was May half term more busy than first time and then last year had to do summer hols and it was very busy.

There was a family (mum, dad, 2 teenage daughters) sat in front of us on the way back and it was the first time they had been (this is last year) and they had done no research whatsoever and said to us it was such a big cultural shock for them with the heat/hummidity/queues.

The actual best time to go is October, loads less crowded, still nice and warm (although can get chilly in the evening, but actually this applied to evening weather in May).

The thing with Easter is that it is the time when many Americans take their spring break. We've found Easter to be busier than late August. But the weather is nicer. It's fun whenever you go though, just know what to expect.

Hmm. May have a rethink.

We went to Disney in California years ago - between Xmas and New Year and it was raining. No queues for anything! It was fab. Spoilt us though.
