We went

It was very clean (compared to Haven)
Food was very 'fast food'
Entertainment was french but OK - talent shows etc
The cabin/chalet was fab everything we needed (could have done with more towels but you always can)
Bit of a walk to the beach
But generally lovely (& better than Haven)

Well DD (9 - I think) had beloved G'parents there

We had terrible weather - summer before last

Kids clubs were a bit dire & we had to be present never understod point of that

We just went out & about

We went to France this summer and stayed on a Siblu site. It was very clean and the site was a in a great location. It was quiet and there was a nice mix of French and English families (probably more French than English actually).

My children weren't interested in the kids clubs but loved the pools and sports facilities.

We went to Les Charmettes in the Vendee last year. It was clean and lovely, the mobile home was great. The outdoor pool was nice - tho the indoor pool was not huge and got a bit crowded at times. The food on site was 'fast food', but we just used the site as a base to explore the area and it was superb for that. We didn't see the entertainment or do the kids clubs because our boys were 2yrs and 7mths so they stayed with us all the time, but if you want a base where you feel you have 'space' then I would def recommend them.

Not done Siblu as always found them to be more expensive than other camping operators. Stayed ona Siblu site once and found it very British although we still had a fab holiday! We go with canvas - can use tesco vouchers to pay for some of their sites so get them free!!!

We've been to Siblu - Domaine de Kerlann in Brittany.

It is a very good site, with a well-equipped central area.

They had an children's programme and evening entertainment, which was generally very well attended. The pool complex was excellent, and there were lots of playgrounds dotted around.

Our mobile home was very good, clean and well-equipped, but we were disappointed with the plot. We got the biggest (family of 7) and top-spec, which was fine for us (the weather was good so we were never cooped up), but the plot was small and scruffy - perhaps this was compared with neighbouring ones where the owners spent the summer.

The area is fantastic and we tended to go out each day to a different beach, but we came back to the camp mid-afternoon for pools, football etc. We ate early evening and toddled off to the entertainment.

Overall, we were happy with it at the time. However, the following year, we discovered Centerparcs in Holland for about the same price. There we had a huge villa and were sheletered from bad weather (which we really needed).
