Can anyone tell me if my 3 yo DS would enjoy a visit to the Golden Hinde or if he is still a bit young?

Bumping for you.

A bit young to get the best out of it, I think. It isn't particularly cheap. I took DS when he was 4.5, he enjoyed being on the ship, but was oblivious to any of the quite intersting details and history. It's quite small inside - i would just look from the outside as walking past - and then buy some v good pirate parphanalia from the G Hinde shop a few yards along the road!

If you follow him behind like a hawk .... my ds went to a party on it when he was 6 and it was fine. It's pretty safe as long as your 3 yo is not a climber ...

Not sure that a 3 yo would appreciate they were on a replica boat though.
