Hello again, any suggestions of somewhere peaceful in the Canaries? Will be going with 18 month old. Need rest but beach, pool etc.

Any more specific destinations be gratefully received!

We are going to Fuerteventura in Feb - me, DH & DD, 16 months. We have been a few times about 7 or 8 years ago when even the resorts were still fairly quiet. It is busier now but we have hired a villa on the north West coast in a small village - Lajares. Looks lovely & is near to the small, quiet resort of El Cotillo where there are some lovely, safe lagoon style beaches. You will need a car in order to stay somewhere quiet. We booked our hol last year with James Villas, though they have some late deals now...Hope this helps..

Egypt - Sharm to be precise.

Yep Egypt definitely. Have been to Hurghada in February as well as Sharm and the weather was lovely. Egypt All Inclusive hotels are so cheap. Easy Jet fly to both destinations from Gatwick I believe but there are plenty of other cheap flights especially if you can avoid half term dates?
Try looking on Travel Republic to get an idea of flights then add a hotel. Other websites to look at are: MedHotels, Freedom Direct, Hotels4u, OnTheBeach, A1Travel, Direct Holidays, ULookUBook
Don't forget to check Tripadvisor and Holidays Uncovered and www.holidaytruths.co.uk (sorry link would not work for this website) for hotel reviews before you book.
