Lake-side accomodation in Germany

Managed to get return ferries with Speed Ferries in the Summer Holidays for £38! Now have to sort out where we are going

Have done some research but not come up with much so far, thinking about Germany - somewhere fairly quiet, with swimming pool or a lake to swim in. Usually fairly good at finding accomodation but even Fodors didn't come up with much.

Anyone got any recommendations for companies to book through or properties that might suit? Travelling with 2 children 10 and 7

How about Interhome here , Centerparcs here , Hoseasons sites here or you could email the tourist office of towns you like the look of. Some have on-line request forms where you specify your requirements and will email you back a list of suitable accommodation and prices.
