pub with play area near M1 S Yorks

We're hoping to meet up with friends for a long lunch - we'd like somewhere where our 2yo can play/keep amused rather than just running round a pub restaurant annoying other diners! Any suggestions preferably near M1 between Barnsley and Sheffield.

hmm, used to be one at Area Square, quite near M1 but that no longer has a play area I don't think. My DC are a bit older now, so don't need the soft play so much. will have a think and get back to you. how far off M1 do you mind going, and what time of year - can think of a place with outdoor play area but no good at this time of year!

hi thanks - its for a couple of weeks time so cold outside! Don't mind a bit off motorway as long as easy to find.
