Any fans of "My Travel" holidays out there?

I have a holiday to Florida booked via Direct Holidays, part of the My Travel group for October 2009.

Initially I booked it thinking it would be ideal for our 10th Wedding Anniversary with DS, in October 2009. However, ever since I booked it I've regretted it and Ds/dh don't want to go either. Couple with the crap exchange rate we've decided to cancel it.

It will cost me £360 to cancel, this is because we only paid a low deposit of £30 instead of £120 and my mum was coming too, we need to pay the remainder of the deposit to cancel. I can pay a small admin fee to change the holiday though.

We're used to First Choice holiday village type places which we love as does DS. But wanted somewhere a little different, perhaps even a cruise but direct holidays don't do this.

I was thinking perhaps Cyprus (warm in October?) but would like to avoid the Euro Zone. We're also avid Turkey fans so are considering the Antalya area (never been to this part). Especially the gorgeous looking 5 star hotels in the Lara Beach area.

Just wondering if anyone has been to a My Travel hotel that was wonderful for kids, that they could recommend to us.

Sorry if this is a rabble, have had a few glasses of wine .
