Hotel Recommendations in Chalon et Champagne or Riemes please!

Hi Guys

We're driving to south of france with 3 kids end of May and I'm looking to do an overnight stop in either Riemes or Chalon et Champagne, does anyone know of any good hotels, B&B's etc?

I stayed in the Best Western in the center of Reims a few months ago. Was really funky, clean and central.
Epernay was nice too, but didn't stay, only visited the Moet factory.
Actually really interesting if your kids are older.

BTW, I was laughed out of town by the Frenchies I was with for saying Reims as "Reams". Apparently it's "Raarms" (in a thick French accent)iyswim. Who knew?

I must remember e before i Reims! doh 5 year gap between eldest and middle one, so probably just somewhere to put head down and stop, then get going again. Will take a look at Best Western, I did browse etap website, but looks like 3 per room max...and we need 5!
