Can you tell me what makes of formula are readily available in WA? Not sure if we're going to take Aptamil with us (quite a lot for a month) or see if there is a brand here which we can switch to and get in Oz.

We use SMA so I am not sure about Aptamil. Sometimes the branding is different, so have a look through this list (Woolworths is the major supermarket chain) and see if you recognise the packaging.
