Boness &Kinnell Railway

Anyone been to Boness & Kinnell Railway in W.Lothian Scotland?

I haven't - but was literally thinking about this today. I used to live in Bo'ness.

We should be up in Edinburgh soon and this will be on the to-do list now that I have a ds who adores steam trains!

Heard from one mum it was great fun at Christmas. We were hoping to go at Easter. The Maillaig West coast railway looks fab too...but too far away.
Be interested to hear how you get on tribpot.

We went on the Santa Steam Train Special in early December with DD(3). It was thoroughly enjoyable and I'd highly recommend it.

We're now planning to try to go on one of the Days Out with Thomas in 2009 and will definitely book again for next year's Santa Special.

We have gone a couple of times and it is great. The Days Out with Thomas was fantastic - definately recommend it!
