Is it best to exchange a wad of currency (GBP to Euro) or to just withdraw cash as and when we need it?

Hate taking a large amount of cash on holiday, but as the pound is in such decline against the euro, I dont know whats the best option- Exchange it all now before the exchange rate gets worse or just leave it all in the current acct and draw out an amount each day in resort?

any tips???

Putting aside FX movements for a minute, it is always a good idea to withdraw a big amount of cash at home country and convert it to foreign currency at most advantageous rate you can find, again, at home.

Because when you withdraw from cash machines in foreign country, you get charged outrageous FX rates. So you get less for your GBP.
