Should I buy a highback booster for our trip? (USA 12 days) or just take a regular booster seat? DS <4y

DS is still in his Stage 2 seat at home as I've not yet bought him a highback booster

Are highback boosters that much better than the basic ones? Will it get destroyed by the baggage handlers?

Have successfully taken them back and forth to the states for a number of years for successive DCs, but I don't put it in loose I put it in a bag - cheap one bought at the market that was the right size then stuff towels, jumpers etc around it.

I would buy one, much more comfy for the child and I find the normal booster seats not enough support when they fall asleep and they end up falling off booster.
I have taken high back loads of times and never had a problme..get a cheap one though.

Thanks
We usually put our car seats in loose but in a clear plastic bag
