We are going to Florida in Jan does anyone know if you can book plane seats in advance if you have a 2 year old? Also will we have to stand in the queues? any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone been in Jan what is the weather like? thankyou.

I think you are only allocated seats in advance if the child is under 2 and therefore using the basinette facility. You can however check in online 24 hours before you fly and choose your seats then.
As for queuing, yes it's most likely unfortunately. I travel a lot ot Florida with BA with dc ages 6, 3 & 2 and always have to queue....Bloody outrageous

cherryapple,

You may find the above BA webpage helpful.

You can certainly check in online exactly 24 hours in advance and print off the boarding passes. You can use the fast bag drop at the airport.

The system in Orlando is different to that in the UK; there you have to queue to check in and there is no fast bag drop facility.
