ryan air infant baggage

hello we are flying ryan air at xmas and have seen the website which says there is no infant allowance for baggage, does anyone know if this means for under 2s. Our dd is over 2 and we have bought her a seat so does she get a bag/handluggage. There doesnt seem to be any clarity on this. Thanks for any help anyone can give me

If you have paid for a seat then she gets a baggage allowance the same as you. Only babies/toddlers that sit on parents laps do not get baggage allowance.

Saying that, Ryan Air is shite.....but I cannot see that they could make you pay for a seat but not allocate that seat with baggage allowance......can you imagine them telling an adult that they couldnt have any??

If you have bought a seat then she will have a baggage allowance. You have to pay for each bag you check in. A buggy goes for free.
One thing to be aware of though is that you cannot 'pool' your allowance i.e. let's say that you and your DD were travelling together, each with an allowance of 15kg (I think that's what it is but you better check). You cannot take one bag of say 25kg - they will make you pay excess luggage.

I have been forced to take some Ryanair flights over the past year, having sworn about 10 years ago never to fly with them again, and although I wouldn't go so far as to say I was pleasantly surprised, it was in no way as bad as I expected it to be (had two DCs with me), and check-in was a breeze.
