LONDON THEATRE BREAKS - More advice needed re. hotels and eateries

Ok so have narrowed hotels down to these two

Holiday Inn Bloomsbury (Caram St) £332
Beauchamp Hotel (Bedford Place, Russell Sq) £376

Both include theatre tickets but Im not sure whether to book the hotel separately (£222 and £218) and buy theatre tickets eleswhere.

Can someone please tell me where is good to buy online, and whether I should be looking for cheap seat (grand circle) or more expensive (stalls and royal circle) is there a major difference? We only have a little piddly theatre here in cardiff so it doesnt matter where you sit.
Also a lot of these offer dinner, Criterion and David Britton @ The Cavendish have come up but I have no idea if any good.

I know I keep doing loads of threads but I dont seem to be getting much advice, surely there must be some seasoned theatre goers or reg londoners who know the score

right - no hard advice as unfortunately haven't had opportunity to book a lovely theatre break.

HOWEVER - boss at work booked one on lastminute.com and it was about the same price you are looking at.

Used to go to Uni in Russell Square which is a good 10 min walk away from oxford street but quite nice as still on Picadilly line and away from busier part of town-ish.
Don't know where Caram Street is I'm afraid.

Sorry, can't be much more help but have a fab time.

thanks tacky
apparently both of them are near to Russell Sq station.
Weird how one is more expensive than other with tickets and vice versa without

mmmm. very weird.
I expect you have looked at the hotels websites? See waht they are like?
I wouldn't spend too much as most hotels seem to be the same unless they offer something really luxurious....
