It is quite a well off part of the island, but I am not sure as a holiday destination, it´s more a place people live rather than holiday afaik. i´m pretty sure you´d have to drive to the beach, although not far, so most people prefer to stay nearer the coast where they can just walk.

thanks mav, there's quite a few apartments to rent there. Will have to read up about how far from the beach.
