Can I hire a car seat ANYWHERE in Glasgow?

This is really dull and I'm probably unlikely to get the answer I want but I have to travel to Glasgow tomorrow to go to a funeral and need to bring ds. I am coming on the train on my own (eek) and have managed to sort transport while I'm there but have no car seat. Does anybody know of anywhere that might hire out car seats (forward facing) for a few days as the other option is to carry my very heavy Britax seat along with all the other baby paraphernalia...I really don't want to have to do that!
Any recommendations? It would be easy if I had to hire a car cos they'd hire me one but I don't need a car, just the seat!

Thank you TIMDI I guess it was a long shot- surely there must be some kind of market out there?! Might try Dragons Den...
It is going to be so stressful as it is and I could just do without worrying about blimmin car seats as well!

I will need the car seat from Thurs until Tues as I will be doing lots of toing and froing between various relatives' houses so taxi isn't an option, sadly

Thanks all. I don't think it looks likely anywhere will hire me one by tomorrow so I think I will have to give up the search. My sister's friend was meant to lend me one but she's now snowed in and can't [frustrated]
I'm almost tempted to buy one to leave at the IL's house but I suspect that might be very excessive as we normally have our car when we're there!

I know this is too late to be of any help but I am actually starting a baby equipment hire company based just outside Glasgow. It will include car seats! Please give me a shout if you are stuck again or look at www.thelittlehirecompany.co.uk
Hope I can help you out next time!
