I'm struggling to spend money on the boys this Christmas and thought about a trip/event/experience instead.

They are 9 and 11 and have never skiied [sp?] before. I have - a long time ago - but used to ski every year and was pretty good.

So what should we do for the best? It's a long trip for us, but I don't want to put them off by booking them in for too much/too long.

Should I book a taster lesson or a beginner's lesson or what? On the price list it has a 'taster activity day' in the school hols, but I can't find any details of this on the website itself.

Yes, I took DS in Aug. We just went for a Tubing session which was fun and much cheaper than skiing. Perhaps try the tubing and then they can expereince the environment, if they like it you could go back another time. You can still make a day of it in that there are restaurants overlooking the slopes and it is just across the road from the Trafford Centre.

That sounds like a good idea sellorrenovate: I think I'll look into that.

How many times do you get to go down?
