We are looking for a Christmassy day out to take two 4.7 yo girls and a 7 yo boy.

Any suggestions ?

Don't mind indoors or outdoors, open to any suggestions

I should imagine Windsor Castle has a good christmas tree & festive decs up in the castle - also some good bits of armour in the castle for your boy & for your girl lots of stuff about how the queen lives. They also have a nice "quaint" shopping arcade just opposite the castle which would look lovely all done up for christmas. You can arrive at this station on the train if coming from Slough direction. On some weekends they have reindeer in the highstreet & there is a children's candlelit procession one evening too. Check out the Windsor tourist site for their festive events - it would be relatively pricey though, & quite busy if you can put up with that & it is on the far edge of Berkshire.
Just next to Windsor is Legoland which is bound to be all done up festive style & is said to be good for all the family not just little boys into their lego.
