La Manga?

We are thinking about going here in May with our 8 month old. Whats it like?

for having everything close at hand its very good, there is a great supermarket, its vast of course the whole complex, with the 2 courses for golf, the childrens activites are great, they restaurants alright, better going out of the complex for evereyday food, the more expensive restaurants are good or the hotel.
the hotel is lovely,
cartegena the nearby town 20mins is well worth a visit, for real spain - tapas, shops and atmosphere, lovely plaza in it with surrounding restaurants.
cabo de palos is a little fishing port , has a market, cant remeber the day, and some nice restarants around the harbour.

the "strip" further on is full of restaurants and night life but i was not keen on it, preferred the relaxed environs of la manga
