I don't suppose anyone has been. They look really nice, just wondered whether any decent feed-back? Or failing that anyone recommend somewhere for 2 + 1 preferably with self catering up York way.

yes, yes. Look for Laskill Grange (used to be Laskill farm) near Helmsley. I wrote about it on another thread a while ago, we try and get there every year. Gorgeous setting, river nearby to throw stones in, see fish. Sheep/lambs, horses, nearby. cows in the shed/fields. Swings. So close to York, Helmsley, Pickering (steam train) scarborough (beach), we really recommend it. Lady called Sue owns/runs it.

bluesky - sorry I haven't reported back sooner, thanks for the recommendation, it looks fab. Unfortunately Dh's contract is due to finish at the end of June so looks like holiday plans will be on hold until he can find a new contract. But thank you anyway.
