Looking for good days out for kids not too far from Taunton, any recommendations very gratefully received please!
Here are two of mine:
- the Fun Farm, www.thefunfarm.org/ just north of Taunton, they have a Father Christmas grotto, but it is worth going anyway, kids of all ages love feeding the animals (feed the lambs with big bottles - all too familiar!), going on the train ride and using the indoor slides and bouncy castle.
Or the West Somerset Railway (Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and stations in between) is brilliant for any child, but especially Thomas the Tank Engine enthusiasts!±
