Maldives - how much do you tip and how often on AI holiday?

Got the info throgh from tour operators and they appear to say to tip daily for the waiters, weekly for the cleaners. Dont want to get it wrong from the off!

When we went AI we tipped the waiters everyday, andtended to leave the loose change we had out for the maids everyday. We left a proper tip for them at the end of the week though. Plus left them all the toiletries we had brought, on the advice of the rep.

We are going to Maldives for Christmas and New Year this year

We aren't going all inclusive so don't know about that

But when we went before we were B&B and we just signed for everything and it was charged to the room and we tipped on the bill you sign and also at the end

we left $$$ US $$$ in our room

Cos we didn't carry money around with us we will be B&B this time too

Which island are you going to?

were they really talking speciaclly about maldives?

deffo use US dollars
