20-25 C in Dec/Jan
Decent food ? not all English, but not too ethnic
Beach (maybe sailing?)
Possibility of Kids Club
Less than £2200 (£2500 if all inclusive) less if possible
Fly on 26th Dec - 1 week

Gran Canaria - Lovely, still nice and warm in winter and lots to do. Friendly locals too.

i reckon that is a tall order for guaranteed sun. you might be lkucky in canaries but you might not. we decided against for first week in jan. have you thought about egypt? reckon that might be your best bet? how old are your dcs? we decided on south africa! i did a thread on this under shorthaul travel. kenya was a v v tempting option (nanny instead of kids club) but our youngest too little really to take to a malarial area. flights will be expensive at that time of year. we found thery didnt drop for south africa until 9 jan which doesnt help you.
