Two questions:

Can anyone recommend where in the arena we should sit with two children (2&5) - lower tier, upper tier, near front , near back??? Tickets costs lots and want them to be able to see.

Can anyone recommend a really nice 4/5star hotel nearby so we could stay the night before?

The upper tier is very very high up and the incline is very steep. The advice is not to go up there if you suffer from vertigo! Saying that, the view is still good.

NAM, what is the incline like in the lower tiers. I hate seeing the back of someone's head and obviously the kids are going to be so much lower.

not sure on the lower tier so much. Is it a children's show you are going to see? Will there be bolster seats available like in the cinema? I also remember that the steps were very steep too on the upper tier and children could well find it difficult to climb them. Keep bumping the message and hopefully someone might have more experience of the lower tier.

i was really daunted when i walked in, its huge and high. good visibility from all angles and the marshalls do a good job of keeping people seated when they shouldn't.

i wouldnt recommend near the back, near the front and middle and at the end of an aisle, for toilet breaks.

Thanks. Anyone else been to the lower tiers? We are going to a show which I think will be in the arena's central bit

Hi, for somewhere to stay, I would recommend the Novotel Hotel in greenwich, beautiful surroundings with lots of cafes/restaurants and only 15 min from the O2
