I went Thursday with my friend and our between us 8 children (age 2 - 10) and it was fantastic I 100% want to go again it is the most amazing place we only managed to see like 10% of it as it is HUGE and slightly overwhelming I have to say but thumbs up completely worth it and for halfterm they had plenty of hands on stuff for children to see

Good that it is becoming more child friendly

It's had a huge panning in the Times this week, so glad somebody enjoyed it! I haven't been for a while, but remember it being good for children. If you ask at the desk downstairs they have lots of trails for children to follow - we did Ancient Egyptians as that's what ds1 was doing at school at the time.
