Has anyone been to Dahab? Being billed to me by travel co as nice, quiet, non-commercialised part of northern Red Sea with good diving on house reef and childcare. What sort of town is Dahab really? What are the attitudes of the local people towards strange tourist women travelling without male partners? Would it be stupid for ds and I to do an overnight desert camel trek alone with male local guides?
