Am thinking of going here today instead of a trip up to london (long story- on another thread). havent been for years but remember it being quite big. dds are not great walkers. would scooters or bikes be allowed, does anyone know?

I haven't been for a long time, but I recall scooters last time I was there so I guess so. Some of the paths were gravelled I seem to recall. And you can do a lot near the car park anyway - the animals and main playground aren't too far.

great, thanks, will opt for scooters, i think, as dd2 is a bit still a dodgy with her steering, thinking about it!

For next time a quick tip - when you get to the little roundabout just before the entrance to the park take the turning to the left signposted to the golf club - down the track is a free car park - its not too far a walk round to the playground, and pub...
