Not cheaper to book online, but does mean you don't have to queue, never been before, been put off by the queues, going on sturday and have booked online, you have to pick at time though, but get to bypass the queues.

did you look on lastminute.com?

I don't have a voucher but if I can save you some money I would say that Jorvik is a museum that doesn't stop surprising York people because is over rated, severely overpriced and, in the words of some experts on the area, rather basic. It is more of a commercial fair attraction that an educational thing.

Yes I went a couple of years ago and I would say it's ok but given how much it costs and how long you have to wait it is all over rather quickly.
It's famous because it was the first 'dark ride' of its type, rather than because it's the best.
But it's still good fun.
