Does anyone have a recommendation for a toddler-friendly hotel in Rome please? Also what's the best area to stay in to be as close as possible to most attractions?

We stayed in Rome two weekends ago, our hotel was near the "Termini", which is the Central station for trains, buses, and both lines of the Metro.
It was within walking distance of most of the main sights, except the Vatican City, which is further out but, only about a 10 minute ride on the Metro.
We stayed in the Starhotel Metropole on Via Principe Amedeo, don't know how toddler friendly they were, as we did not take the boys, but I did see people staying there with young children. The Italians usually are very good with children anyway !!They are on line at:

Oh, another tip, Waterstones do great little, pop-up maps of cities, very slim and small. It will slip easily into your pocket and no fight to fold them up again. The double halved ones (Rome being one), are £2.99 and the single ones are £1.50.
We found ours so handy as we walked miles, and saw loads.
