Can you let me have your recommendations for a day out in Drusillas please !!

Are there any areas we should/shouldn't miss.

What are the restaurants like - ie cost and choice. Not sure whether to take a picnic and grab takeout chips to accompany or just go the whole hog and eat out !!

We're taking my DS for his birthday (4) with DSS(9) and DSD (10).

hurrah for Tescos clubcard deals

Thanks !

really good deal, i think. a lot to see, we normally take a picnic though the explorers cafe is pretty good for children's meals.i find it expensive for adult meals. there doesnt seem to be many picnic areas now though. you can come outto your car and get your picnic and eat it in the small playground by the carpark.

everytime we go there is somethign different. i think it is a good day out.
and they just love the playground. if you are lucky you see the beavers, but they usually come out from their lodge later, don't get them confused with the Capybara, as loads of people do.
in half term there will be a halloween theme, a scarey witch with her cat.

just remembered, the cafes close quite early, if you run out of time ... explorers closes at 3 and the oasis cafe has less choice but probably still does serve chips til 5 ish.
