brighton isn't too far by train
lots of history portmouth way = again nowt on a train.

i second arundel - nice little tea olde shoppe type place - little museum = you would miss on the high street - looks like a shop - they gie kids a sheet - like a spot the x type thing which keeps them entertained

Have car Need to get map out, thank you, will make sure we find the museum. Will i be able to find these roman remains as a tourist IYKWIM, are they sign posted? lol

Fishbourne is just off the A259 near Chichester. Bignor a bit more obscure near Pulborough.
