Dim sum restaurants in London China Town

Am meeting a friend who has a 10 month old and my DD is 7 months. She is coming from SE London and me from North, am going to China Town for dim sum.

Anyone know of a baby friendly one?

Don't know for sure whether it's baby friendly as haven't been there since having mine, but the best dim sum (IMHO) is New World at 1 Gerrard Street. They do the full dim sum thing with waitresses coming around with dishes to choose from on trolleys. Everytime I've been there I've seen chinese families, but can't honestly say for sure that I've seen highchairs...there's an upstairs and groundfloor level, so you might ask for groundfloor to avoid buggy nightmares....sorry for lack of a definite answer

yauatcha has been recommended to me as clean, baby-friendly and not too expensive if you don;t drink. Friend of mine went there with husband and baby and spent £30 (for both of them) on lunch.

ping pong is a chain and not very authentic - but it is definitely family friendly and cheap and they have high chairs etc. There are about 5 branches in and around central London - nearest one to china town is probably Great Marlborough St.

Yauatcha is lovely but not particularly cheap (it has a michelin star) and I've never seen babies or young children in there - having said that I've only been in evening so perhaps it's lower key in the day.
