It used to be mainly for school-age children, so not so good if you had pre-schoolers too, but now it has all these - looks lovely!

My boys loved Eureka at 3, 4, and 6. They would jump at the chance to go again

we went to Eurika when my oldest was 5 and again when he was 7 ( this time with baby ds2). He loved it! wish it was nearer our home.

Just to add my thought to this - we went with DS (4) today & he loved it. £6.50 each to get in & loads of things to do. Agree it seems to be aimed at those aged 4-9ish - i think older ones may find bits a bit too simplistic but DS thought it was great - lots of buttons to press, things to turn & indestructable exhibits! So much to see though we didn't know where to start! Cafe was good & reasonably priced too with good healthy stuff to eat.

Hello Whizz, DD and I were there on Sunday too!!

We were there from 11am to 4.30pm. still didn't do the whole lot. 1st time I have been with DD. Highly recommended.
Oh, it is 1.95 now for under 3s.

roisin · 04/05/2005 14:25

Are the role play bank, supermarket, garage, post office still there gingerbear?

gingerbear · 04/05/2005 14:34

yes. DD went crazy doing a supermarket sweep, stealing the groceries from other kids baskets, and just about knocking one child off the till!!

roisin · 04/05/2005 14:40

I thought ds1 would be outgrowing it (nearly 7 last time we went), but he was thrilled when he got money out of the bank, and played in the role play area for over an hour! (Bossing other children about!)

How old is your dd?

gingerbear · 04/05/2005 14:46

almost 3. Some of the under 5 stuff was a bit 'tame' for her to be honest. The town square and 'My Body' part was her favourites.
