Portaventura - is it worth going with 3 yr old and 1yr old? Esp if the adults don't like big rides?

WE're thinking of going to spain next year and would be near Portaventura. We're going with 3yr old and 1 yr old DS's. Neither DH or I like 'big rides' so is it worth forking out for tickets to Portaventura or would you not bother? Is there much there for the 3's and under?

We went there this year - my dcs are 9 and 3. 3yo ds loved it but not as much as my dd. Obviously nothing for your 1yo to do.

There also wasn't much shade or air conditioning there so got much too hot (we went in August).

Unless you can get a fantastic deal I really wouldn't bother.

My dd's aged 8 and 6 loved it but it does get really hot and there isn't that much for small children. There is a few water parks around the area and they may be better for youbger children, one is at Port Aventura and the other is a bus ride away. Where are you staying?

We'll be staying at Vilanova park
