Am due to fly tomorrow morning with my 15mth old dd and am nervous as she has a slight runny nose. She doesn't have a fever and isn't really sneezing or coughing but dont want to make it worse. The flight is only 2hrs. She had vaccines a week ago and is teething so could be because of those but my husband has been sick and I dont feel great myself! Is it ago for her to fly?

Yes yes yes, my dd flew for 21 hours at 9 mo old with chicken pox! Though I didn't know she had it when we got on the plane as the spots came out while we were flying. We both survived the flights!

Try and keep pressure down in her ears,as might have congestion, which will make them very painful.

Keep feeding sweets or fruit etc.Lots of drinks as she'll get dehydrated, and the swallowing will help too.

Oh yes of course it is ok. I have survived many a flight with a feverish baby. Take plenty of water for her.
