Virgin: what kind of stuff do they give you for the gluten-free meal? Or the other options?

I'm low-carbing and was thinking of going for the gluten-free option - is it edible? I guess there may be as much I have to leave as with the normal meal. What about Asian vegetarian? Might be tasty at least?

I'd take my own food on board with me and not rely on them to provide.

Mm, was going to take snacks but not sure I'm organised enough to prepare an actual meal to take on board - it's an 8h flight

I ordered Asian veg as someone had suggested it on a web forum, it was nice. However I think the normal veg meals (I got for dds) were nicer as I like cheese.
