places to eat looe cornwall

Hi We are going to looe in cornwall and when on holiday always seem to be let down with places to eat so I thought I would do some research. Does anybody know of any good family friendly pubs and resturants in the area or any tips on other good places to visit

The Monkey Sanctuary is great and IMO the numerous pasty shops are very good for lunches on the go or food for picnics

we ate wonderful pasties from one of the bakeries there - so many to choose from, also the pubs had great food. We stayed at the fieldhead hotel for a wonderful week before the dd's came along.
