Somewhere you can recommend for a hol just after Christmas? Really need a nice break!!

Hi, feeling a bit mind boggled by all the options. We don't want anything more than £2000 for a family of 5 (3 children - 7,5 and 1). Ideally somewhere sunny would be great but would really like to know what advice/opinions any of you have as to what has been a great holiday and somewhere you would go again. thinking of the days just after christmas for one week. thanks

hi, I have been to Gran Canaria in winter-think it might have been in February though. It was nice and warm and I had a nice time but this was pre children so not sure what there is for kids. The Canaries might be closest in terms of winter sun (though not 100% sure about that!).

The Canaries - only place in Europe that will be hot at that time of year

Florida still warm at this time of year.

This beach was lovely and the kids would like it (nudist bit nearby though if I recall correctly).
