Been twice on Thomas fun days and once at Xmas. Brilliant day out!! We parked at Arlesford and took the train up the line, getting off at ROpley which is where all the main action takes place. There's normally a big marquee with a magician, bouncy castle thing, nice picnic area etc. The races between Diesel and Thomas are great - with the Fat Controller waving his flag! Definitely recommend it!!

Been a few times and just about to book to go again soon.

Great day out, any Thomas fan will be in heaven.

We went to one with dss many years ago (Hes 13 now and can still remember it) and he loved it. We didnt tell him what we were doing for the day and were standing waiting for the train when someone said "Whos picking us up?" and the ticket man said "James". Dss's face was a pictue as he stood there going "James? What really James?" Was one of the best days out hes ever had.

Went last summer and had an absolutely brilliant day out. Everything was so well organised and the atmosphere was great. It was the first 'day out' that I really think ds (ASD) enjoyed as much as his sister. Would definately recommend.

If you look at the Watercress line website you will see photos of previous Thomas days and also little movies of the races.

how can anyon recommend this , we went to this couple weeks again, so badly organised, ur riding on ancient old trains with faces stuck on, Thomas doesnt come out til 3pm, then in the loco yard, kids got filthy from all the soot, we thought it would be all the Thomas trains. We complained as wasnt what we expected at all and got a full refund - certainly wont be recommending and ds was not impressed told us that Thomas is not a very friendly engine!!
