Hi! We have had our flights cancelled due to the XL crisis so now frantically trying to arrange an alternative. Unfortunately the only option is a more complicated route which requires a stopover at Athens each way - 5 hrs going out, 7 hrs coming back. We have an 18 month old and haven't a clue what to do with all that time. Anyone know much about Athens and/or the airport there? Someone told us the metro runs to the airport which is great but we've no idea where we would go on it! Someone else said there is a children's play area at the airport but would be handy to know if it's any good. Any advice really, really appreciated. Thanks!
