Always up for a freebie, I took the kids to the NPG on Sunday. V Good in BP section, nice quiz thing to help the children look at the paintings and think. Just ask at the desk in the BP gallery. DS (6) loved it.

Somerset House does fab coffee and shortbread, and the children can run around in the founrain bit.

Tate Modern also v good for kids.

V&A has fab new courtyard with playable-in fountain and cafe with BEAUTIFUL rooms to drink your coffee and scoff your cake in.

Oh that sounds too tempting Lovely! Can feel another day trip to London coming...
