Weekend break near Birmingham

My husband is going to be doing some teaching in Birmingham at the beginning of November, so we thought we'd make a weekend of it. But with two 3-year olds, we need to find somewhere that's going to work for them. Anyone know of a child-friendly farm, or other suitable places to look into staying and visiting? Thanks.

There is a lovely childrens farm, Ash End House here and of course there is Thomasland at Drayton Manor Park (also a Zoo there).

There is the Sealife Centre in Birmingham City Centre..
