Anyone else manage to ruin their car seat by folding over the strap?

i'm so annoyed, looks like i've broken our £145 maxi cosi priori by yanking on one of the straps when it was twisted over on itself in the buckle... DH is convinced its me benig hamfisted.. anyone else done this? and is there anything i can do to fix it?

Oh my goodness this has happened to me on several occaisions with our Maxi Cosi. We fixed it using vaseline on the strap and then we were able to untwist it.

What a nightmare though!

thanks, that's a good idea... tried fairy liquid but not vaseline.
glad to hear its not just me, of course my DH thinks i'm just hamfisted and careless and i'm having to pay for the replacement myself!!!
