Homeswap programmes

Hello,
Has anyone out there tried a homeswap? We're teachers with two boys 8mths and 6. We like getting away on weekend breaks and hols but prefer genuinely child-friendly accommodation. We're based in Scotland and would like to try this. Any ideas on the best agencies, ways of doing this?

I don't know anywhere to suggest, but would be interested in joining such an agency myself.
