best hotel in Stratford and somewhere good to eat?

taking my ma for a night in stratford (going to rsc). Which is the nicest hotel and any recommendations for somewhere good to eat?

Last time we went we stayed in travel lodge at Warwick which was only 10 mins away from stratford. There is a lovely restaurant called Edward Moon. Lovely atmosphere and great food. I can't remember the name of the street it's on but I know it's on the same street as Pizza Hut.

Sheep Street (near the theatre) has loads of good restaurants. There are several hotels within walking distance of the theatre but I've no idea what they're like (I come from SonA and so we stay with parents). There is the Moat House, Shakespeare, Alveston Manor, Grosvenor, Falcon and probably a dozen others.
