Help! Nice hotel for Saturday night needed - near London. Everything booked!

Very, very rare chance to escape kids offered, but we can't find anywhere to do at all! Any ideas at all? Must be no more than £200 a night (ideally nearer £100) but nice, not a Holiday Inn, please!
Sussex and Kent ideal, but open to ideas. Everywhere we've tried has been fully booked, and don't know where else to try!

Richmond? More Surrey but it is a lovely place and heaps of hotels.

Look if a nice pub ok then this is great, in the heart of the old bit of winchester, nice pub, great food

Thank you for your advice, and the late rooms tip - have booked this place through them (managed to change the babysitting from Sat to Sunday which improved our options)
