has anyone been to the charlie & lola exhibition @ the Manchester Art Gallery?

I was going to take dcs tomorrow, but if its not good, I'll let DH go to his client in Manchester alone, and stay here!

Just coming on to say its small but we enjoyed it, but I guess you either already gone or decided to give it a miss!

Yes, we travelled a long way to go to it.

I was surprised that it wasn't bigger - it's only one room - but there's plenty of hands-on stuff for the children to do and I enjoyed looking at all the original artwork. The exhibition covers all Lauren Child's books, so there is (for example) the Princess and the Pea as well as Charlie and Lola. I was fascinated to learn that LC had once been an assistant to Damien Hirst.
