Does a pram a count as your one item check in luggage allowance with EasyJet?

Have a flight booked with EasyJet from Gatwick.
It says one item allowed to be checked in for all the family, plus one item of hand luggage each.
We need to take a double pram with us, so does this use up our one item check in allowance or are prams allowed on top of one bag checked in??

Does anyone know??

Thanks!

I've flown lots with my 2 and the buggy has never been counted as baggage - but if you are worried call the airline - they will let you know the policy - given how they seem to be charging for everything now...

Never had buggy counted as baggage with EasyJet. We've always checked it in as an additional item (along with carseat) at the check in desk and not been charged for either item.

Pushchairs are carried free and are taken as well as your check in luggage.

No with Virgin and BA.
